AT THE RESTAURANT

This is the work that we wrote together. It is a play in which two families go for lunch at the restaurant.

First we wrote the text then we memorized it and finally we dramatized, seeking appropriate props and costumes. It was a fun activity in which we learned new vocabulary and expressions.

FIGURING UP HOW TO CLASSIFY MATERIALS

In Junior 5&6 class we have been working on materials and finding out what do we know about them: COTTON, WOOD, METAL, LEATHER and GLASS.We finally split up in groups to talk about each material so we could make a long list of objects made of them.

And here's the result!

 

HEALTHY EATING

Our junior 5 and 6 students have been able to classify food and focus on the value of healthy eating. They have learnt the importance of eating a bit of each one of the food types in order to have a better health. Here’s the chart they’ve made with all the food types: Proteins, fruits and vegetables, dairy products, grains and sugars.
